seen this before when a old snapshot as not cleared away stopping a new one taking place, if i remember right the event viewer shown this when trying to create a new snapshot. is there any old snapshots still on the system?

quick update - we found that the disk storage had a few problems which we are looking into.

@MarianneWe are backing up to a HP StoreOnce catalyst (open storage) then running a SLP job to take a copy of that image to tape

seems a windows reboot (again) seem to fix the problem, we still montiroing the system but seems alot better today
