Running Enterprise Vault 10.0.2. Periodically the archiving tasks stop running. Is there a way to monitor these to alert when they fail? Is there a log file I can monitor or a database entry that I can query?

We're using Dell AppAssure Replay to backup in our environment. With Enterprise Vault, their (Dell's) support is telling me that backup mode is not necessary. Has anyone used this and found this to be true?
Since upgrading from EV 9 to EV 10, I'm seeing a lot of items that fail DL expansion. This is only occurring with hidden distribution lists. If I unhide the DL, it works ok. Is there a way around this?
I finally got a good restore with both SQL and the EV data from the same point in time while everything was in backup mode. The current journal index is still showing failed, but I can search up to the point of the backup.
The server is 10.0.1.1171....
I think the restore was not done properly. It appears that the SQL database was newer than the EV storage partitions. I need to get a restore from the same point in time for both.
