Yes I did use the x86 drivers and have been using the DISKPART within the console. It just lists the three drives as previously mentioned. I have not yet ensured that the firmware is the latest version, thank you I'll try that now.

@Andy: Yes that is correct when I gt into the recovery environment the only volumes that I can see are the external hard drive, SRD, and USB attached. I have tried manually loading the MS server 2008 x86, x64 and R2 drivers at different times. @Mar...

Yes I have. I've actually only tried the manufacturer drivers for this product.
