backup exec - HP D2D2502 boxes connect over iscsi

the HP D2D2502 box is supporting inslide the MSL2024 tape library. has anyone ever connected this box to a backep exec server over iscsi?

we need to read version 5 tapes with a new server 7. Is this possible ? these are tapes from an old disappeared netbackup server. ALso the fileshare server has disappeared. what is the exact procedure to do this ?
