I have upgraded the Symantec NetBackup client on the server to 7.1 and installed the patch NB_7.1_ET2256525_2.
Now the backup has run for 3 nights without errors in the backup or when I log on to the server.

I tried another solution and upgrade the Netbackup client to 7.1 on the server with the problem.
If I do not include the Bare Metal Restore (BMR) part of the backup, it seems to work without problems...
