Thank you I will try that asap and I will let you know...The last two P to V's went ok and all drives were able to be resized so it was weird for this not to be the same...I'll let you know

HI Everybody thank you for all of your replies...It seems like the IBM drive has issues...I did not even think to try thr HP drives which were able to be cleaned...sorry for the fire drill and thanks again.. Lesson learned
