"I'm guessing we have to install BE12 on the new 2008 server first, put in the data and catalog from the old server, then upgrade to BE2010, which in turn updates the db, data, catalog, etc..." was in response to AmolZeroCool response about step #9....

Thanks AmolZeroCool, I will give that a try. I'm guessing we have to install BE12 on the new 2008 server first, put in the data and catalog from the old server, then upgrade to BE2010, which in turn updates the db, data, catalog, etc...
