Hi, The backup seems to be OK GRT still appears to work on the virual system disk, and it has no other GRT enabled apps. I have another backup backing up the RDMs i just want to stop the errors showing that the backup has failed.

Hi, I cant deselct the option as it isnt listed in the VMware backup section. It just automatically targets it with GRT enabled so the SQL databases appear in the recovery lists. I presume this will count as an SQL Agent liciense from the media ser...

It would take a year before all tapes are filtered into the right media set at the right time meaning that the tape drive no longer needed partioning. As for the overwrite issue the tapes can be in the drive for extended periods of time over holidays...
