Does the touchfile - /etc/nbapp-release - exists ? Crcontrol command works differently / has different set of arguments if this file is present in my experience - for example dsaddpartition doesn't work without without this touchfile.

You can't install 7.5 GA client on windows 2012. There is 7.5.0.6 full installer package for win2012 -> http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH204661. Installing 7.5.0.0 may be the problem.

We have core dumping enabled of course :) But there is no segfault message in /var/log/messages or dmesg so I assume bprd exits cleanly or there is something wrong with cluster process monitoring. dang so many typos ... edit this silently

Nope, no solution I have found so far. We didnt log the case either as there is no core dump and nothing in standard logs. It is happening roughly once a month in our case and we can't afford to turn on verbose bpcd logging - tens of thousands of job...
