I'm after some information on having the MSDP database stored on a NetApp LUN. It is currently reporting it is misaligned.
It is currently on WAFL however unable to find information from Symantec/NetApp on this.
Any advice appreciated.
I am currently in the planning stages of DDBoost for RMAN
- ensure you have the correct amount of channels, and
- delete obsolete rman backups from disk
- don't forget to change the control file record keep time.

I understand the documents provided however their is no advice on the recommended 'starting offset size (eg. 1024kb) ' for the database partition.....
I am only presuming it wants the standard windows offset size....
NetApp System Manager reports that it has a mis-alignment.
Its just a LUN that was created via a GUI in System Manager using default settings (WAFL). (Sorry im not NetApp trained just posting information passed to me).
