The configuration is Netbackup 6.5.5, master on AIX 6.1.
The keep_jobs_hours parameter is set to 504 (ie 21 days).
There's an old job (job id 1 669 638) aged more than 21 days (the nearer job still in activity monitor is 1 705 557 ran the 11/12/2...
Here's the context :
- netbackup master and media server on AIX6.1
- a windows 2008 client
We try to restore a whole partition of the windows client from a full backup. Job arrives in queue, "job details" tab read "begin restore". Two hours later...
If it can help another time : I experienced that, after having defined a new robot, it's better to declare at least one drive before reseting processes of the media server. In other case, problems like the one you experienced occured.
Thanks for all your advice. I think both methods were correct since the TN mentionned by Kiran points precisely which files to erase and which ones to keep.
Anyway, I first try the "bpjobd -r", it works :)

Thanks for the technote, we're typically in case 3, so apparently there's no solution but an upgrade in 18.104.22.168 or higher.
I'll try anyway the trick provided by Kiran and will post the result :)
