Exchange backup does not clear log files

I'm running BUE 2010 R3 and backing up Exchange 2007.  I'm doing a full backup (db & logs) which should flush the exchange logs but they continue to grow each day. Attached is a screen shot of the exchange settings on the backup job. Thanks S
