I found that I had to disable the Security, as described in another post here. After changing the registry on every remote server and the media server, the backup is running fine!

Thanks Colin, for your post. Just one question to your posted workaround (disabling agent security by registry) - do I have to do this only on the media server and the affected remote server, or on all remote server in our company?
