Former COBOL and RPG programmer turned UNIX Systems Engineer working closely with Sun Microsystems and SunOS/Solaris beginning in 1989. Around 1994 I met Ed Regan of Veritas who showed me a fantastic tool called Volume Manager and from that moment I focused on Veritas products on the Solaris platform. I have been employed by Veritas/Symantec partners since 1989 and have delivered on many Storage Foundation, Cluster Server and Netbackup solutions. My focus today is primarily on Netbackup software and appliances.
