Overwritable media not being overwritten

Backup Exec 2010 R3 Server 2003 R2 Media set is "Keep data for 2 weeks" Data being backed up to NAS drive. Once NAS is full, backups fail because files/data older that 2 weeks not being removed/overwritten even thou they are marked as ovefrwritable.
