Drew Meyer brings extensive experience to the information management market, including backup, networking and networked storage concepts and technologies. At Symantec he leads the marketing teams for Backup and Recovery, Information Availability and Information Intelligence product lines, driving thought leadership, asset creation, go to market guidance and campaign strategy. Prior to joining Symantec, Drew held product management, product and field marketing positions at leading technology providers including NETGEAR, NetApp, Adaptec, Quantum and Micron Electronics. He is a contributor to SCSI Trade Association publications, holds a patent and is a regular speaker at industry events and regional user groups. Mr. Meyer is also a past host of GeekSpeak, a weekly NPR syndicated technology radio broadcast/podcast with a 5 star iTunes rating. Before diving into high technology, he spent nearly ten years as a professional whitewater raft guide in the USA and Latin America. Drew holds a BA in Political Science with minors in French and English from the University of Puget Sound, and lives in a historic house with his wife, (wedding cake baker Edith Meyer) and their twin boys in Santa Cruz, California
