Does anyone know of an easy way to find out what maintenance pack level my Windows clients are at? It only shows the version in Activity Monitor host properties/clients, and the only way I know of is to log into each individual client to see the MP ...

I'm trying to back up data on a NAS device which is mapped on a Windows 2003 server. When I run the backup, I get status 71 (none of the files in the list exist). I currently back up data on a STK D280 frame just fine this way....any suggestions? ...

Ah, thank you! I didn't even think of that. I had a batch file running on a Windows server using a few years back that did something similar, and ftp'd the results to one of my Solaris servers. I'm sure I can dig that up and do some modifications....

Technically, you're not supposed to be able to restore from one platform to another like that, however, I've never tried it that way. You can always restore it back to a Unix server, and ftp it over to the Windows server using something easy like wi...

I know you said you can resolve the hostname on this server, but have you checked the reverse lookups on this server?
