John Eldh is Symantec’s Vice President of Channel Sales for the Americas. In this role, he is responsible for Symantec’s enterprise channel and distribution strategy, as well as partner programs for all market segments, including: SMB, mid-market, public sector, Value Added Resellers (VARs), and national partners. John has been a sales executive for more than 20 years. During his seven years at Symantec, he has held sales leadership positions in the Americas and EMEA. Most recently, John served as Vice President of Sales for Symantec.cloud, and was responsible for architecting the group's go-to-market and channel strategy. Prior to that position, John was Regional Vice President of UK/Ireland and the Nordics, leading sales for Symantec's largest region in EMEA. In this role, John built a partner-focused culture and delivered significant results by leveraging the relationships, strengths and core competencies of his extended partner ecosystem. Prior to that, John was responsible for building and executing the strategy for Symantec's PAN-EMEA Inside Sales and Renewals Organization. Before joining Symantec, John spent 15 years in sales and leadership roles at Gartner Group. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Rhode Island.
