Hello, I am currently backing up DFS and it is extremely slow. I have the "Pre" and "Post" commands to stop dfs, but the performance of backing up to tape takes about 11 hours. Any help would be appreciated.

The host server is windows 2003 R2 sp 2. I have tried system state and I have tried the DFS Folders themselves. I have tried both senariors. I appreciate your response to my question.

Thanks for the reply CraigV. I have loaded the lastest symantec drives for 11D and I am finally able to see all by slots in backup exec. I am not using Advanced Open file Option, but I have set the option to never, do you think that will help?
