I've recently been giving EV a once over and have found something I'm not sure what to do about.Checking the queues, I can see a legacy Exchange server that was removed some time ago still has 11,000 messages in the A1 queue and some in other queues....

With the SMTP journal feature in 11.0.1 how are DLs handled? There's a brief mention to adding a DL as a target, but that seems crazy if you're managing 1,000s. Is there any guidance on DL expansion? Or is this no longer an option?

We are using the PartitionSecuredNotification for confirming that items have been replicated. However, despite the scan interval set to 1 minute, EV appears to scan whenever it likes to. Is there a way to force a scan?

Now that EV 11.0.1 has been released and allows SMTP journaling, is there any benefit in switching from using journal mailboxes to sending directly into EV?

I've just realised that the provisioning task for the new domain didn't cover the provisioning group from the old domain. Added that, run the task and now all looking good. Thanks Tony!

I had done that and it was still showing that warning. I found this article and tried removing and adding again, but still seeing the same thing: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000015133 So it knows that the Exchange server is there. ...

That's what I'm using it for, but then it mentions that it doesn't expand the DLs. So wouldn't that mean that the original message won't be complete since you don't know who was in that DL at any given time?

Thanks for the repsonses. I assumed there were plenty of people out there with this configuration, but just hadn't seen anything. For once no news is good news!

Even though it's the same domain account acting as the VSA, just tried this and it still isn't showing anything. Not sure what else it could be.
