No, This isn't a DNS problem, i tried also to add via IP same result.

Sorry but this didn't work...still cannot backup the QNAP :( Any more suggestions ?

Ill try that out and let you know. Meaning i will create a local account on the QNAP with the same name of the Domain User running the Backup Exec services.

I did try to run the backup and i always receive the same error with Credendials. The Qnap is not capable of NDMP, i have the license for NDMP and my NDMP to Netapp works perfect.

I created a few local accounts on the NAS and gave full access permission then tried to connecte useing the local credentials on Backup Exec still no go.
