Am using a different selection list for the differentials, have double checked to make sure they are backing up the same files.The OPP is set to None, and the append period None - Infinite allow append.

Have the same problem too with a w2k server as well. Didn't try the reinstall but instead just upgraded to version 10. In the end cheape just to cut our lossesr than dump more time into this problem. Trying to run a repair on the OS is not a solut...

The account needs to have admin rights. If you just specify it with backup operator and domain users the BackupExec service won't start, and just gives an error when trying.
