i have performed by backup, i want to do restore operation .
my master server is windows, my media server is HPUX
i want to restore in HP...

can you plz help with creating the backup policy using cofc with NBU7.6,
i have created the storage server , my windows is master server and hpux is the media server.
created the policy but unable to trigger the manual backup.
so you suggest to create NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS too..

not using tape drive ,its HP StoreOnce Catalyst.
yes i need to test in different block size for different throughputs.
After creating file in media server ,now in the log it is effected the buffer size

i have created the file in HPUX host that is media server in
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/config
and created size_data_buffers with 524288 in it as i wanted 512k block size (512*1024)
i did not create number_data_buffers is it necessary to create that ...
i have created the file
SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS and mentioned as 524288 which is 1024 * 512 bcoz i want 512 k as my block size,
and i have ran one backup in that i found
