Hi all, Here is a problem I'm facing: I have a yearly backup job to run in January. I messed up the backup schedule, so some policies missed the yearly backup. The yearly backup is set to backup to disk then duplicat to tapes with 7 year retention....

I don't think the Accelerator will increase your backup speed; it will reduce the amount of data you are backing up.

Thanks for all the replies! Sorry I forgot to mention, I did try to set the images as the Primary Copy but made no difference. I even ran a manual 2-step import, didn't help either.

I'm no expert, I think import is your only option. It doesn't matter which server to run on. It's probably a good idea to write protect the tape just in case
