Is NBU on Solaris a fresh install? is xinetd or inetd services running?.
You can always try install_bp script under bin dir which will refresh all your installed binaries (if corrupted), but will not change your configurations/data.
You need to make sure there are sufficient tapes recalled (through vault) or manually for daily backups.There is a possibility that images in media may be expired but still sitting on assigned volume pools.Try bpexpdate -deassignempty
Hello, Looks like your master unable to read its own configuration. Possibly due to name resolution problem.Verify whether you have changed the hostname or ip on hostsfile or DNS. Just try bpclntcmd -clear_host_cache and then verify.
