We did try the 7.5.0.6 kit; our install scripts for the standard client on WS2012 install 7.5.0.6 first, then patch to 7.5.0.7. But the 7.5.0.6 special base kit for WS2012 kit hit the problem with Postgresql, hence this thread. I was also surprise...

Clearly applying the 6.5.6 EEB or upgrading would make some of these issues go away, but we cannot so I'll accept the advice to do so as a solution!
