Mike, By looking at the job log, can you tell what part of the backup we're getting access denied on? Are you certain that it's on the Exchange stores?
If the backup set is completely mssing from restore selections, you may have to recatalog the media to rebuild the catalog. Is this the case, or is it just the granular restore selections that are missing from that backup? Jeff
See if there are any errors in the EVT logs on the Exchange server. Look for anything related to mailscan anti-virus software, or Exchange \ MAPI. Have you tried going to a different folder or mailbox to see if you have the same results? Jeff
