Hi All,I'm trying to trouble shoot my tape drive by using NT Backup but the only option available is backup to disc.I look for my tape drive in Removable Devices and all I see is the CDRom. Is this correct or should I also see my tape drive?Thanks!

Thank you. I saw that page. I don't feel that this would be my issue as my successful Exch 2010 GRT backup is using the same staging location, although not at the same time.

My issue seems to have cleared up by replacing the SCSI cable but it sounds like you've replaced every piece of hardware in then chain.I would be interested in your results.Good luck!Scott

Thanks for your reply!Yes, when I put in all of the tapes and inventory them, it finds the tapes that it needs and restores correctly.It's not always convenient to put all tapes in at once and in the past, it would prompt for the necessary tape.Thank...
