Tape Drive store Backup Up to 1.5 TB

Support, We have an issue with veritas Backup exe. We are using Tape Drive for taking backup. Once the backup reached 1.5TB its asking for new tap even we already inserted 3TB. We are using Backup Exe 16.0 Please advise what is the issue
