I think this is a real problem. All of the defined aliases are being ignored.

Unfortunately these are windows clients so there is no bp.conf. But they do appear in the server list in the client gui.

It does resolve back to the alias name. and it is in dns with FQN an shortname. master1 and master1.domain1.com resolve back to the same ip on both client and master.

We applied firmware version B5JF to the IBM ULtrium LTO4 drives. The errors cleared and tapes are no longer FREEZING. Thanks to everyone for your input.

I have tried using IBM media to no avail. We are expecting latest firmware upgrade to arrive tomorrow. That will be the next test.
