I keep getting the .dr file is not updated errors on my excluded backups. I cannot get an error free full backup (SQL). I've already did the reg edit to override the msg but no work.
Any other suggestions so i dont get these irritating msgs?

I am setting up the backup to run on my SQL server. When i make my bu directory selections, should i be backing up both \Program Files\MSSQL\DATA and Microsoft SQL Database folder or can i bypass one of those folders?

I cant find any mfg diags for this Dell PV unit. is there any diag's w/in BE itself i can run? I did a test backup of 1 directory on the c drive and i do not get any errors at all.

THe tape drive is internal so it powers up when the server does. I am able to do inventory. have not done an erase. Will try after my backup finishes this afternoon.
