Right guys I have a bit of news with this problem, it is a possiblilty that the latest firmware for the LTO drive could be causing this problem.Can you let me know what version of firmware that your drives are using.

Yes I have updated the firmware on everything.This includes server, scsi card, library, and drives.None of this has resolved the error.thanksAlex-
