I ran into the same problem using 10/20 GB 8mm Data tapes. Try using the 20/40 GB tapes at least you won't be running out of room. Even with the compression I only realized about 27 GB per tape on the 20/40 GB tapes;.

Thanks Al,The BE Utility worked like a charm, the backup was recent and I didn't lose any of the configurations. You saved me quite a bit of work.-Chris
