Adding third node to VCS Cluster - (Solaris 10, NBU 6.5.5)
Hi, I'm currently running a Master Server which is a VCS Cluster with two nodes. I need to add a third node to the cluster and am struggling to find any doco on it (apart from the high availability guide which explains configuring from scratch). Does anybody happen to have any doco on this or is able to point me in the right direction? Apart from the VCS side, I'm assuming that I'll probably need to run cluster_update and configure from there, along with adding the extra node via nbemmcmd, etc. Thanks. After upgrading from 6.5.3 to 6.5.5, jobs are not running. They will kick off but and a few will run and then after a short time no jobs will go active. Jobs just sit queued or in an active state but unproductive. Has anyone ran into issues like this after upgrading to 6.5.5?Solved1.5KViews0likes9CommentsScript is required

Requirement: - 1. To know the status of backup is successfully completed or nor. 2. send the information to all stake holders. Please advise707Views0likes3CommentsLTO3 or LTO4
Hi everyone, We are currently running an LTO3 media drive with uncompressed tape capacity of 400 gigs. I would like to move to the higher capacity LTO4 tapes with 800 gigs uncompressed capacity. My question is, will the LTO3 media drive that I have now utilize the larger capacity tapes, are they compatible? Can I write more data to the LTO4 tapes and still be able to read on an LTO3 drive? Thanks.940Views1like4CommentsJava console or X-manger problem
Dear all, we are using veritas netbackup 6.5 on Solaris platform server[active passive cluster]. whenever we access veritas console on our desktop/laptop through Java console or X-manger in both way we got very slow response. To change on configuration or saving any configuration is very slow. this makes working on veritas console very irritating. Is there any way to make this access console fast.
