Insufficient disk space - stop on command files execution
Hi, We are using command files option to delete backup's files in the folder on few servers We have few USB disks for each backup, switched every day, and we cannot use Veritas/Symantec to keep only 1 copy of backup because backup is covering about 90% disk space and Veritas require space for 2 backup to keep 1 backup. So we are using .bat file with command: But when backup startting, it stucks on not enought space info. I have to click on "cancel" and command file is ececuting and backup starting. My command file settings: What I'm doing wrong? Problem is on the old Symentec revovery, but the same problem is on new Veritas 21.3 on another server780Views0likes1CommentSSR 2013 SRD USB Issue - Can't Map Network Drive Despite Being Able to Ping NAS
I recently purchased a new laptop does not have a CD drive so a USB SRD is required. I have been unable to get SRD created that can map a network drive despite IP Config showing being issued and IP address and being able to ping my NAS device where the the backup files are stored. I have tried the following: Downloaded SSR v21 - Same result Downloaded the lastest network drivers and check to see that the Windows PE driver was exactly the same as teh Windows 10 driver that was being loaded as part of the SRD creation Building USB SRD on desktop (SSR 2013 R2) that has successfully created a DVD SRD - Same result I have not tried the following: Building an Advanced SRD Runing the Driver Validation Tool - Very hard to figure out the proper syntax I realize support is not offered on SSR 2013 nor Trial version of SSR V21. I'm OK with buying SSR V21 if necessary to resolve the issue but I don't want to do that if it doesn't fix the issue. What do you all recommend? Attached are the support files from the desktop that successfully created the DVD SRDSolved2.5KViews0likes6Commentssymantec system recovery 2013 r2

We are trying to restore a backup of the windows server 2012 r2 using symantec system recovery 2013 r2 and we are able to restore the reserved partition and D drive. When we restore the C drive the process gets to 99% and just stops. Hi there, a few days ago i upgraded my Win10 Pro version from 1903 to 1909. Since then SR 2013 R2 isn't working anymore. See the attachement for the message i'm getting. Is SR 2013 R2 indeed not supported on this Windows10 version? Must i upgrade my SR 2013 R2 version to a newer version? If yes, how do i do that? Do i need to pay for a new full version or is there a upgrade path? Thanks for the help / reaction. Greetings, bussieSolved2.7KViews0likes7CommentsSymantec System Recovery 2013 R2
Hello, Does anyone know if the current System Recovery which is being offered will open a backup set from Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2? Here is my situation, we are being sued and to help with the case, I need to view a backup set from 2017 and try to find something. Now, since the MSP is no longer in business, I don't have access to the software to view the backup set. I have searched all over archive files for any installer and I can't find anything. What options (if any) do I have to view the backup set? Hopefully, someone will be able to provide me some useful information. I tried customer care and that was useless. Thank you. I have been asked to removea SAN attached volume from the SSR MS server as the array is end of life and no longer supported. The problem is that there were a number of backup policies that used this volume as a destination. Consequently there are numerous backups that are recorded against this volume. I have physically copied the backups to an alternative volume on the server using Windows command line however the backups will still be showing in SSR MS against the original destination. Is there an easy way to point it at a different location? How would I go about restoring a PC if I needed to restore using any of these backups that have been moved? Apologies if I'm not making sense, many thanks for any help.788Views0likes2Comments
