Hello, After reading a couple of documents including news and Symantec data sheets about Netbackup 7.5, it looks like V-ray is supposed to grannulary backup AD like Exchange, Sharepoint and SQL. There's not so many docs about how to setup this as by default AD backup is included with shadows/VSS backups. I'm able to do grannular backups in VMWare policies, so I can see my SQL databases, but nothing about AD. As someone has some info about this ? Is it working ? Is it a marketingmistake in the data sheets and Symantec powerpoints ? Thanks for your feedback, NHSolved3KViews1like10CommentsActive Directory backup with GRT exits status 1

"Server for NFS" has been disabled and "Client for NFS" is active and kept automatic. 4.We ran the below command in the client side. "sc config portmap start= auto" 5. In Policy, We have enabled the "Enable granular recovery" option and configured "system state" in the backup selection. Am i missing anything ? AD admin privilaged account does not have access on the Master server ? do we have to configure the access ? My GUI interface for NBU reports aren't working. I notified SYMANTEC helpdesk and it was mentioned to reinstall NBU or use the command line. I uninstalled and tried reinstalling but I would get and error that stated it could not continue installation due to an interruption. Could it be a permissions issue? Thanks in advance for your inputs. Be Blessed 8-) Ciao, Luigi 8-)740Views1like5Comments
