Unable to connect to server '(local)'; SQLServerAgent cannot start
Dear all, as prework for the eVault 8 SP3 installation i changed the local admin pw and installed the SP3 Deployment Scanner, following a reboot. Now the "SQL Server Agent" is unable to start, after start the service stops immediately. Hi! I created a new Mailbox Archiving Task and i got a problem with the MSMQ-queues: The admin-, r1 and r2-queues were created, the queues a1 - a7 were not created. If you start the synchronization of this Mailbox Archiving Task manually, you get the error: "Failed to synchronize Enterprise Vault with details from Exchange, Reason: 0xc00e0003" The errorcode "0xc00e0003" gives the hint to problems with the MSMQs. Has anybody an idea, why some queues are created after start of the new Mailbox Archiving Task and some not? Hello, I provide Help Desk support for a university. We are using the EV client for users with Outlook and integrate it with our Outlook webmail feature, but we don't deploy it to users with Macs using Entourage. I'll be asking my system administator if he has the client, but I don't believe he does. Is there somewhere I can download the client. I suspect that I will need to provide some sort of account information or license number, which shouldn't be an issue if I can in fact download the client. Although, if you aren't using the Enterprise Vault on an enterprise server, what good is the client. Shouldn't need a license to download, but it's a moot point anyway. Hi, I'm very very happy to tell you of a great new feature we are delivering in Enterprise Vault 10.0.2. In this release we are delivering Exchange Archiving Reports which are generated whenever Exchange Mailbox archiving takes place. The reports are available during and at the end of the run. 3 reports are generated, brief, full and .csv. Each report will detail every mailbox on the Exchange server, and what archiving(if any) took place. Below is screenshot of a brief report and attached is examples of brief, full and .csv. The full report has many more columns, the .csv is a close representation of full but means you could put the data into excel if you wish and process it accordingly. In addition to these reports, a new event log entry is generated at the end of the run giving you a summary of what took place. The summary is also available from the properties of the archiving task and you can access these reports via that or on disk as well. If you take a look at the attach files you'll see that the fields all have "hover over" text explaining what they mean, in addition to this the report will link to a tech note giving further details. We are making final tweaks and would love to hear your feedback as soon as possible. We're running EV 7.5 with Exchange 2007 SP2 mail system . Everything seems to work apart from auto-archiving for one user. He has the same archiving policy as other people, is on the same Exchange server as other people, but auto-archiving won't work and has never worked. Manual archiving works fine. I have disabled/re-enabled archiving on the mailbox, re-synced the mailbox with EV. Can anyone suggest any places to go for troubleshooting or any other steps to take?Solved2.6KViews1like9Comments
