Authentication Failed (Status 160) Netbackup 8.2 ESX 7.0U2
Hello everyone. I'm facing an issue while trying to add a standalone ESX as the attachment, but it keeps returning this error status 160: Authentication Failed. I've already added the IP both on master server's hosts and the ESX's and created an admin user on ESX, which is the one I'm trying to log and add in the attachment. Also, I checked the licensing Storage APIs on the ESX is installed. Anyone knows what can I do to check this case? I attached also a printscreen of the active and paused services on the ESX interface, in case there is something I should turn on or off in order to add the server to my netbackup. Hi, After upgrading my Solaris master from 8.1.2 to 8.2 I could not login to the Java Admin Console with full access (I could before). I get a message (see below) about User Authentication when Enhanced Auditing is enabled (which it is). When I disable Enhanced Auditing I can login with full rights. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this so I can used Enhaced Auditing again? Thank you.1.4KViews0likes4CommentsHeader-Based Authentication Help
We are attempting to user header-based authentication for SSO purposes. The Admin Guide indicates which properties to set in order to enable this feature. However, there is no documentation on what attributes need to be passed from the reverse-proxy server or what a fully-qualifies string would look like. Anyone out ther sucessfully use header-based authentication in eDP 8.3 and above?1.2KViews0likes0CommentsCan Third Party SAML Authentication (Okta) be utilized for Managed EV environments?
I've been searching around, and I can easily find instructions for setting up Third Party SAML based authentication for EV.cloud, but I can't seem to find anything about a Managed Enterprise Vault Environment. Is it not supported? We would like to use OKTA authentication for our organization, as our we have mutiple domain trees, which in itself has caused some consternation for users. We would Ideally like to be able to put this behind OKTA. Anyone sure if it's possible (or even sure that it's not?) Thanks, -RH871Views0likes1Comment
