Connect DLO clients to new Maintenance Server
Good day all. I have DLO 7.5 with almost 50 Clients. My Maintenance Server just died and now I have this 50 Clients unable to backup their documents. Now I have a new Maintenance Server with DLO 7.5 SP1 and the Question is: How do I connect these 50 clients too this new Maintenance Server? Can't seem to find a document or procedure to do this. Morning, I'm having a problem with DLO on windows 8, sudenly it stops working after a few days. the error is: the database server name is not specified in the registry But, if i start as admin all works. my account is also local admin of the computer, so i cannot understand why this is happening and why this stops working after a few days. This is just happening on windows 8, windows 7 is ok. i have been in multiple sites, check all config files and registry settings.... all ok! :( please help..... implemented DLO - Desktop and Laptop Option 7.6 SP1
Hello I'm implemented DLO ( Desktop and Laptop Option 7.6 SP1). I'm in trouble with the high use of MPLS link when you start DLO backup's desktops . When I start the backup it allocates all the bandwidth of the link and compromises the use of other applications. Can you tell me if it is possible to configure and limit for the DLO Desktops use the 64 Kbps maximum for desktop link MPLS ? Thank, José PamplonaUser stuck in Delete Pending state
Hi I have a user that I'm trying to delete and they're stuck in "Delete Pending" state for the last few days. I am in the process of deleting many users and had to manually delete some NUDFs to complete this task more quickly. This user is the last one and I want to retire the storage location, but am unable to as it's stuck in "Delete Pending" state. I have looked at the below article on how to delete the user from the DB: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH138374 But I am unable to locate the BEUTILITY feature to carry out this. Is there an updated document detailing how to do this? Can I use the DLOcommandu feature? Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks Jimmy

i am having chalenges running a dedupe backup on symantec DLO 7.5 and 7.6 after the configuration the dedupe backup does not run and remains like that can anyone help me with an intructonal video or step by step documentation of how to install and manage the dedupe backup on symatec DLO
