V-79-57344-38264 - Unable to copy the virtual machine disk using the VMware VixDiskLib.
Hello Everyone, Currently we have a server 2008 64bit server with BE 2014 which was upgrade from 2012 and for some strange reason I keep getting this particular error message while backing up a few VMs as you can see below. V-79-57344-38264 - Unable to copy the virtual machine disk using the VMware VixDiskLib. VixDiskLib_Read() reported the error: NBD_ERR_DISKLIBV-79-57344-38366 - WARNING: "VMVCB::\\10.0.1.5\VCGuestVm\(DC)ha-datacenter(DC)\vm\SCSMDW\SCSMDW\SM Warehouse-000002.vmdk" is a corrupt file. This file cannot verify. Transport mode 'nbd' was used for the read operation of the disk 'SM Warehouse_1-000002.vmdk' In addition, I have research this particular message and I have not yet found anything online that is exactly what I am having issues with. Furthermore to provide additional background information the issue that I am having with the VM are on an Exsi host that is running version 5.5.

Hello I can't backup only this Vm with Backup Exec 2014 since a very long time. They are no snapshot existed in snapshot Manager. When i select manually only one VM using snapshot technology .. Could you help me ? it says always .. And after the message appears.... ANd, Why it talk about restore ? I giev a backup not a restore. Error : e00084bd - The system cannot find the path specified - unable to restore file or directory. See the job log for details. Agent used : Yes Advanced Open File Option used : No

Exchange sp1 den 2 ye geçiş yaptıktan sonra seninde her ay gelip kontrollerinde fark ettin ve gördüğün hataydı bildiğin gibi. Hata: LCR veya CCR Yapısındaki ddatabes lerin bir kısmını başarı ile alıp diğerlerinde VSS hatası vermesiydi. Bu VSS hatası için genel olarak net bir çözüm bulamamıştık, microsoft VSS Backup hatasını kabullenmiş bununla ilgili bir sürü makale ve güncelleme çıkarmış ancak net bir çözüm için Exc SP2 Rollup 4 veya SP3 Geçerseniz düzelir diyordu.. Veritas backup forumlarından yola çıkarak edindiğim bilgiler doğrultusunda şunları yaparak çözdüm. 1. Ekteki Vss-update311216.reg dosyasını her CCR deki nod1 ve nod2 ye yüklenmesi gerekiyor 2. Nod’larda symantec agent kurulurken AOF (Advanced open file) kurulmaması gerekiyor 3. Backup jop ayarlarken AOF disable edilmesi 4. Back up from the active copy only mutlaka seçilmeli. Default gelen önerilen seçilmemeli. Konuyu farklı bir şekilde anlatan symantec formu aşağıdadır. Ama en doğrusu benim izlediğim yoldur. Hello, i have a Problem with BackUp Exec 15 at a customer. Errorcode: V-79-57344-65233 We have 2 Servers that are Backup. The remote Server is runnung well. The local server runs well for two days, then the error occurs. After the BackUp fails, this are the status of the VSS writers. With an reboot oder with an restart of the various services the next back up is successfull. But it is an Question of time, when the next BackUp fails. Windows Server 2008 R2. BackUp Exex is on the latest Version. Does anyone know the Problem?
