Symantec Ghost image takes a very long time... (Creating & Restoring)
Hi, Im new on the Forum i jst want ask about Ghost Image creation & restoration... I've Hp compaq DC 7100 CPU... i've create a Ghost Image of Drive C: (Win XP sp3 NTFS) and burnt to a DVD. now i want to insatll it with an Optical USB CD ROM, every thing is fine but it take a very very long time in restoration (Over two hours). . . Hi, Just deployed DLO 7.6 and configuring it. 1) How to consider dedupe server is needed or not ? 2) Since all DLO applications were installed on same server. If dedupe server was used, how much performance will affect to the server ? 3) Dedupe affected to destination only ? Source PC / Laptop files still deplicated ? Good day all. I have DLO 7.5 with almost 50 Clients. My Maintenance Server just died and now I have this 50 Clients unable to backup their documents. Now I have a new Maintenance Server with DLO 7.5 SP1 and the Question is: How do I connect these 50 clients too this new Maintenance Server? Can't seem to find a document or procedure to do this. Morning, I'm having a problem with DLO on windows 8, sudenly it stops working after a few days. the error is: the database server name is not specified in the registry But, if i start as admin all works. my account is also local admin of the computer, so i cannot understand why this is happening and why this stops working after a few days. This is just happening on windows 8, windows 7 is ok. i have been in multiple sites, check all config files and registry settings.... all ok! :( please help.....
