DLO 7.6 - Auding
Hello, Customer question "There was also an outstanding question regarding what logs are retained in the DLO DB that can be used to audit user activity." I have looked at the logs in DLO and there does not appear to be much in the way of auditing admin access. Is it possible to pull any other "audit" information from the DLO database? If not, are there any other strategies to get audit information from DLO? Cheers Cameron

Hi, I am planning to install Symantec DLO 7.5 to useDedupefeature that available in this. I have one Data Center and many branch offices and want to install in Multiple Sites with Centralised Administration. My question is about Dedupe Server and Dedupe storage location? How many Dedupe server and how many Dedupe Storage locations required in multiple sites with central administration topology? Can some one please help me with best practice around this? Thanks. How to give the path when we CREATE file system on secondary storage with CIFS share ??? I am also trying to give local path but it is also failed.

Hello, I have two questions concerning DLO 7.5 Will existing clients with the 7.0 Agent be able to continue backing up without the update? I understand that Office 2013 is not currently supported by 7.5. Are there any plans for an update to support 2013 in the future? I apologize if these were in the Admin guide and I missed them.

Hi, I was unclear on the following point. From DLO7 Datasheet Microsoft Outlook® mail files (PST) protection: Protects PST files at the message level. Using VSS Symantec DLO7 has an added feature to backup open .pst files too? also can it restore individual emails and without restoring the complete .pst file? How to auto re-create synced files from DLO clients ?
Hello, I would like to recreate a readable directory of all my DLO clients files. Ie : the same as the storage location, but with un-encrypted, un-compressed and merge version files Main idea is to add this folder in the backup selection. If I do this with the storage location, I'll just get un-readable files. And I'll need to use CLI to recreate the files. It would be easier if it is done by default, without the CLI step. Thanks,
