Hello, There are with Symantec productstwosolutionsto implementglobal deduplication: -a solution based on appliances 5020; -a solution based onyour own hardware servers (where we will install the PureDisk software appliance) and a mid-range storage disk connected on a SAN (for deduplication data). 5020: Pros : easy to install,easy to maintain, one single contact for support Cons : pricing, performance (5020 has SATA disks),hardware upgrade Servers based : Pros : performance (you can use Near-line SAS disks), scalability, reliability Cons : manpower to install and maintain the solution, more contacts for support Can anyone advice me on the best solution ?
