SSR 2013 - ReFS support, when?
When is SSR 2013 Server Edition going to support volumes formatted as ReFS for full/incremental recovery points? BTW the discussion creation form doesn't include "Windows Server 2012" in the dropdown list of Operating systems, only Server 2003 and 2008 is there.

How to give the path when we CREATE file system on secondary storage with CIFS share ??? I am also trying to give local path but it is also failed.

NetBackup Virtual Appliance compatibility with vSphere 6.5
Hi, we are considering deploying NetBackup for a newly installed VMware infrastructure. It's fully virtualized environment and we planned to use NetBackup Virtual Appliances - for both Master server and Backup media server. The installed vSphere version is 6.5 and we would use appliances ver. 3.1.2. However the documentation says, in section "Notes on NetBackup Virtual Appliance as a VMware backup host", that "The appliance supports vSphere versions 5.5 and 6.0". Does this mean the appliance is supported as a backup host in vSphere 6.0 and old 5.5 but NOT 6.5? It wouldn't be very nice. Does anyone have any experience using virtual appliances in vSphere 6.5 environment? I went through Software Compatibility List but it wasn't very helpful as details for Netbackup appliances as backup hosts are missing. Thanks, Petr

NetBackup client for CentOS Power PC LE
Hello team, I was checking the NB compatibility matrix, checking if I can install NetBackup 7.7.3 Client on a CentOS 7 Power PC LE. According to what I read, NB isn't compatible. Is there any workaround to install the client on this platform?

Hello team, I’m having a hard time in getting the compatibility for my red hat enterprise Linux server release 5.7(Tulanga) Version : 5.7 Kernel : 2.6.18-274.el5 I checked the compatiltiy scl for backup exec 20 but I’m sure how to see the kernel version on it It would be great if anyone could let me know if this version of Linux remote server is compatible with backup exec 20. Changing Standalone Master to Clustered
Hi All, I currenlty have single physical master servers. I am looking to either promote the current master into a clustered master server by adding a new server, or build out a new cluster and then DR the catalog back to the cluster, i take it this is possible if the virtual name is the same as the original master server? Has anyone done this perviously, is there any adivse, tips? Currently on NBU 7.5.0.5 and on Windows 2008 R2. Thanks,

Netbackup and 3PAR
I'm looking to use NBU 7.5 to handle our VM backups in our infrastructure which uses 3PAR F400 for storage. I've checked the compat lists and it looks like some elements are compatible but some are not. Can anyone offer advice on this if they are either currently using this setup or have came across this before? The infrastructure is all W2K200x and we would be looking to do integrated backups of Exchange and Sharepoint as well as the usual file data. Thanks.

Conversion Netbackup script to Avamar
Hi, I have upgraded from Symantec Netbackup 7.6 to Avamar 7.1 Grid without any major problems. However I have some difficulties to parse the pre and post Netbakup scripts for Avamar. I need to work out how to convert those NBU scripts for AVM. In fact, I look for a solution that allow AVAMAR to behave similar to the Netbackup pe/post processing scripts .. Although I understand EMC forum is the best place to searchfor this kind of solutionn,I will appreciate if someone can help me to get around how to pass parameters /variable into the avamar command line or configuration file.
