Report for items reviewed by a reviewer in CA
Hi , I have a requirement to prepare a report on total no of items reviewed, pending and questioned for one employee in compliance accelerator. I checked the inbuilt CA report " Evidence of exchange(internal) review by employee " , but it displays all the columns as "0". Later, I came to know that CA report only displays messages from random sampling and not from immediate or scheduled searches and review. Hello all, This issue started happening a week or so back and we've tried a number of the resolutions available through Symantec's knowledge base that generally work after a restart of the database, Windows updates gets turned back on and restarts the system at 3 AM (during processing) or otherwise and none have kickstarted the Last Sample metric again. The database tblConfig appears to be stuck with Sampling : Status - Started and the date for Sampling : Last Sample remains the same. The odd part is that the Sampling : Last First Pass Sample metric is consistently updated? We've set the thread count lower, changed the cache timeouts, adjusted the Last Sample date back one day, restarted all connected systems but still, the random sampling never seems to start back up again appropriately. The Indexing service on the CA server appears to not be started and has an error when attempting to start - does this tie into the Random Sampling system? Is there any other way to kickstart the Sampling : Last Sample or Random Sampling in general via script or otherwise? Problem: I need to ensure that emails sent/recieved (regardless of message route) for a particular group of users are reviewed by one reviewer, and that the emails for this group of users do not turn up in any other review set. I thought that creating department partitions may be the solution, unfortunately I can't find any documentation that talks about random sampling (only 'manually initiated searches'). Also, it seems that the message route options for searches are limited to department only (no external options) when partitions are in place. Has anyone configured a 'restricted' review set like I'm describing? Can you share how you accomplished it? Sometime back I changed the VSA Password and since that time, out security team has been opening events for failed logons for the VSA. I have been working on my company's billing computer for the last few months and have never had an issue with it. However, for the last week or so I have not been able to open up anything that was encrypted. It keeps on giving me the following error: "It is not possible to decrypt this message because your keyring does not contain usable private keys corresponding to any of the above public keys." Can someone please explain this to me and let me know how I can possibly fix it? I have reviewed the keys and they all appear to be correct. I found a similar post with an answer but wondering if there is something I can do, short of uninstalling/reinstalling CA. In the other situation, Event ID 152 was logged just after an upgrade of the CA server, indicating the configuration database was empty (and that the user had possibly clicked on 'OK' during the upgrade BEFORE cycling the Accelerator Admin service). Searching the log files, I can't find Event ID 152 anywhere during the last upgrade, which was months ago and everything was working fine at the time. The CA client has been used for months to conduct searches since the last upgrade, and the only reason I'm just now aware of the EVBAAdmin page problem is becuase the user need to create some reports, and when choosing the "Reports" button, the CA client just says "Disconnected from report server" - so I thought I would double-check the report server configuration option on the Admin page... I can, and probably will, open a case with Symantec but am hoping to find an answer sooner. We have some "visitors" that want proof of review now (Of course they do! I would expect nothing less than for something to be broken at precisely the moment it absolutely cannot be broken - wouldn't you?).
