Data Insight enables you to configure multiple threads to scan large shares in parallel. Parallel scanning significantly reduces scan times and allows users to make timely data management and governance decisions. See About scanning and event monitoring. Before you configure parallel scanning on a collector, you must review the considerations and limitations of enabling the feature. See Considerations for running a parallel scan.
