OpsCenter Status Code "HTTP Status 503 - Servlet action is currently unavailable"
We had a vendor install the latest OpsCenter for us. They have since come and gone and our team never verified it was working. When we click on the web UI login we immedietly get the 503 status. I'm not having much luck online in looking for possible remedies. Would love suggestions on troubleshooting and correcting this.

Script for updating OpsCenter server entry on multiple Backup domain
I have to add new OpsCenter server entry in matser server properties for 500+ Backup domains. Could you please share if any script or easiest way to update the same instead of manully logging on each master and update through GUI (Hostproerties --> servers --> OpsCenter Servers).

Firefox ver 39 is incompatible with OpsCenter - weak key reported
This morning I let Firefox update itself to version 39 and now it refuses to connect to OpsCenter 7.6.1.2 due to weak ciphers. Here's the error: An error occurred during a connection to <servernameeditedout>. SSL received a weak ephemeral Diffie-Hellman key in Server Key Exchange handshake message. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key) IE still worked (with complaints) so I know the webserver is there... I tried all the rebuild keystore KBs to no effect so I went digging more. Turns out the fault is in Program Files\Symantec\Opscenter\gui\webserver\conf in the file server.xml I tried editing the line that specifies what types of encryption can be allowed during the secure connection and just messed it up further since I'm not a security expert...I did get things to complain that there wasn't a compatible level of encryption if I deleted all the references to 128 bit stuff so I think I was on the right track but... I'm back on the reverted file and I guess I have to open a ticket with Support...

Cannot report on a particular master server
OpsCenter Version: 7.5.0.7 OS: Windows 2003 NBU Master Version 6.5.5 Key details - The master server is displayed on the main Monitor screen as connected - The master server does not appear in the data collection screen - The master server does appear in the Agent screen (I have deleted/re-added the agent successfully) - I am able to drill down into the master server jobs, drives, media summary, etc from the monitor screen - I am unable to remove the master as it does not appear in the list to remove - I am unable to re-add the master because it already exists - It does not have any aliases - I have re-installed the agent on the master server, restarted all services (NBU & OpsCenter) - I am a security administrator in OpsCenter The master server is setup identically to all the other master servers in our environment and only this master is affected. Has anyone come across this issue before? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Create new Database - Opscenter 7.1.0.4
Having all sorts of problems with Opscenter 7.1.0.4 which i think is mainly due to a 5 year old Database which started life in VBR. Without reinstalling Opscenter how do i create a new Database and start again ? Also anyone know whether my 7.1 license will work in 7.5 (Analytics) ?

Failure alerts for specific schedules on specific policies
I am trying to figure out how to be alerted for only Full backups of our Exchange database's. I am not as concerned with incremental as those are not even a business requirement, just a something we have added to boost RPO. However as of now using the "Job Finalized" condition, I can not specify the schedules to be alerted on. Does anyone have any idea how to do this or an idea for a different way to approach it? Netbackup Opscenter 7.6.1 migrating to Windows 2012
We are upgrading our OS....Currently i have Opscenter 7.5 installed on WIndows 2003 SP2 and is working fine. I installed Opscenter 7.6.1 on Windows 2012 VM environment. The installation was successful and I launched OpsCenter without error before restoring the db files. But after restoring DB files to the new DB data folder running the dbbakup script - I could not logon to opscenter here is my error "Error occurred while connecting to the OpsCenter Server. Please ensure that the server is running" -The drop down for Domain: OpsCenterUsers(vx) unavailable/Empty Please help! Thanks in advance for your help.

Amount of data (active data, <45 days) for a customer
Hi, I have opened a new thread since the other one is closed. I was asked by management to do the following: A report for each customer in Netbackup, to reveal the amount of data within <=45 days for each customer. So for this one, i`m guessing if I take a 45 day interval within any month(latest), and then split them by customer, I can then see this? Of course not expired data which can be revealed by Protected Data in OpsCenter, right? And a 2nd report with the same this only the achive data >45 days for each customer. Which this can be a looong data generating report.But i`m guessing it shouldnt be that much since it only supposed to have unexpired data. Is this report, relevant if I use Protected Data(which includes I guess all data protected/active) for >45 days, since Netbackup is in place? we have a client with infinite retention..so I have to gather all data for this one. We are using OpsCenter Analitics, so I can use this as I did before. How can I do this? How can I exclude expired images form both reports? //George

OpsCenter Multiple Times Zones
Hi, I am currently involved in a globalisation project for the entire Netbackup Estate across the UK/ USA/HK and have set up a cetralised OpsCenter server based in the USA, firstly is it Ok to have a Master Server reporting into two OpsCenter servers? as I am doing this as part of the switch over, not sure if I can migrate the databases as my server in the UK is a 7.5.0.7 running on Wintel and the new USA based server is running 7.6.0.1 on RHEL...... With regards to the reporting functions the timezones if set to default will be as per the USA, I can setup a local account and set that tmezone differently, I have actually done this for my UK based account, but is there a way to set server groups based on regions? Any help would be appreciated Kev

Symantec OPs center is not working.
