New DQL templates in Data Insight 5.1
Data Insight provides you the ability to query the data being monitored by using Data Insight Query Language (DQL). You can use canned DQL templates, and generate a report in CSV format. Data Insight enables you to add tags to files that are archived to Enterprise Vault. These tags make it faster to search for the files archived from Data Insight in Enterprise Vault. When Enterprise Vault archives and indexes a file, the tag is included in the index of the file. When you search the archive, the search is carried out on the tags that are attached to the file rather than the entire Enterprise Vault database. You can add any number of tags to a file. For example, you may want to tag files that belong to a certain department in your organization as HR or Admin. Or, you may want to add a descriptive tag such as Older than three years. You can add tags when configuring Data Insight reports that support archiving. Only a user with the Server Administrator or a Report Administrator role can add tags to files being archived. Data Insight: Using the remediation workflows to automate the assignment of remediation tasks
Data Insight remediation Workflow lets the security and storage administrators automate the assignment of remediation tasks among the configured custodians and data owners. After analyzing the request, the custodians and data owners can determine the best way to remediate the issues. See About remediation workflows Data Insight lets you create a remediation workflow with customized attribute values or use the workflow templates which have predefined common values. Using the template you can create multiple workflow instances of the same type. The Risk Dossier displays visualizations that provide more insight into the factorsthat contribute to a user’s risk score and expands Data Insight’s risk analysis capabilities. The Risk Dossier helps you investigate reasons for a spike in the risk score and helps to protect against potentially malicious users or data leakage. The User Risk Dossier provides the following visualizations: Displays the historical trend of the risk score. Shows the breakup of a user's risk score on a date selected in theRisk History graph, with details of the individual scores of the different factors that constitute the risk score (Access, Anomaly, and Alerts). Data Insight provides a central reporting and auditing view for remediation workflows. The single view provides custodians an audit trail of the responses submitted from the Self-Service Portal for paths across all workflow types. The single audit view provides the enables you to do the following: Review the historical information about custodian response on workflow paths and any related automated actions on these paths submitted from the Self-Service Portal. Use advanced filters to search for custodian and system audit information. Email or export audit records for reporting or integrating with external tools. Purge historical records as per the configured duration. See Auditing workflow paths.
