Enterprise Vault Search Usability Study
Hi there, I am writing because we are looking for people who might be interested in participating in a 60 min long remote usability study for Enterprise Vault Search(EVS). Obtaining feedback from actual users is one of the important ways we can ensure the new design is easy to use and provide a good user experience. Candidates should be familiar with the new Enterprise Vault Search or have used legacy search apps to find archived emails and interested in spending about 60 minutes evaluating our new design. New verison of the Enterprise Vault Search allows end users to set their own preferences. These preferences are saved in the database and hence persisted across sessions and machines. To set preferences click on the settings icon available at the extreme top right corner of the screen next to the user's display name.Enterprise Vault Search and Date Formats
In EV12 now you can set a language to be used by Enterprise Vault Search. Along with the language you can also choose Date and Time format to be displayed in the results and the reading pane. By default EVS makes use of browsers default language, if the default language is not supported by EV\EVS then it falls back to the next supported language in the list.Enterprise Vault Search (EVS) - Advance Search Custom Fields
Like previous versions, Enterprise Vault 11.0 also allows power users to perform search on custom properties. In the new version due to enhanced UI, search on custom properties has become more user friendly. You can now perform search on more than 1 custom field, to be specific Enterprise Vault Search (EVS) allows maximum of 9 custom fields, 3 each for Date, Text and Number Fields.Enterprise Vault Search (EVS) - Favorites
If you have upgraded to Enterprise Vault 11.0 you must have noticed new version of EV Search. Apart from multiple browser support and enhanced UI there are many new features that are added in the new release. One such feature is Favorites where an end user can add a Favorite Folder or save an Advance Search query under Favorites.
