Saving Opscenter log to different disk
Opscenter version : 7.6.0.1 Hardware: WIN server 2008 R2 Question: Am trying to move/save opscenter logs to different disk on the same system using vxlogcfg.bat. But some how getting below errors. Please help: D:\Program Files\Symantec\OpsCenter\server\bin>vxlogcfg.bat -a -p 58330 -o 148 -s D:\Program Files\Symantec\OpsCenter\server\log V-1-8-5 An unknown argument Files\Symantec\OpsCenter\server\logs=E:\ was passed. Where E:\ is the new log directory am try to move to.
Full Media Capacity (Tabular) is wrong. Shows wrong per tape capacity
Full Media capacity report from opscenter shows 753,653,117,382 kb per tape? 7.1 terabytes? Maybe I am reading this wrong or dont understand what this represents. Help would be appreciated. Hi, I'm planning an implementation of OpsCenter Analytics to send SNMP alerts to monitor servers with TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) and BackupExec. Solution to encrypting, decrypting, the re-encrypting data.
From what I understand with PGP I cannot simply transfer all of the data stored on my 200gb HD to my new 1T HD using Ghost without first decrypting it and then re-encrypting it on the other end. Is there a way to do this and avoid the painstakenly long re-encryption proccess? I am new to using Ghost and was just thinking there had to be an easier way to transfer everything. Hello, Has anyone created any custom reports in Netbackup OpsCenter 7.0.1 that they have found very useful for either themselves or for management teams that they'd be willing to share? We're working on putting some management slide decks together that show success rate, failure rate, clients by type..but looking for reports that may be thinking outside the box . Thanks.
